Several events have
show up where I can see that I have to be ordained. I must have some backing
behind my name to ensure that I can walk right into a congregation or a group
and they’ll realize that I’m orthodox, or a minimum of I’m backed by people who
are the same type of orthodox as they have been in a few points.
As I was preparing to
learn how to make this happen, I started to look into what this means to be
ordained. One aspect of it is showing that you're educated in the Term, that
you know as well as understand the Bible in a fashion that you can teach,
detect, and represent Christ in an effective way. Another part of that's
delving into church background and tradition and understanding classical areas
of research such as Ecclesiology (study from the church), Biblical
Counseling
(study from the Bible) and Pneumatology (study from the Holy Spirit). Some of
this sounds good to me personally, some of it sounds like a lot of nonsense.
At the exact same time,
finished the guide Linchpin by Seth Godin. Close to the end, he says how the
main point of a resume would be to show how you are simply like everyone else.
It’s a kind of showing your achievements inside a bland, lifeless, search-bot
friendly manner to help you be weeded out.
This is actually the
opposite of that. This really is where I’m going to visit Christian
Counseling
after some heady things, wring out the scriptures, and look at all the
drippings. I’m putting it right here because it’s easier to collect in one
place and because, at some point, I might ask some guys to check out it so they
may consider laying on the job me and standing at the rear of me.
